I think I may have just gotten some spyware on this computer at work. It was completely by accident, I swear! I was just reading The Pirate Bay blog talking about how the site was recently sold and will be turned into a legal service (like that’s gonna succeed – look at Napster). But anyway, as I was reading it Firefox started freaking out. It wouldn’t let me close that tab and the whole computer was going pretty slow. There was a buttload of comments on the post so I’m guessing somebody put spyware or adware or something in their comment. I would give you a link to it but then I would be putting you in the same pickle I’m in.

So I finally got the tab closed and the computer was slowly getting back to normal (as normal as it could get) and up popped the window. It was AdwarePro or something like that? I don’t remember the actual name, I just denied everything it asked me to do and ended the task as quickly as possible. It even tried to trick me. The first message that popped up asked me if I wanted to buy the full version, so I said no. Then there was a second dialog box asking if I was sure I wanted to not purchase the full version, so I had to say yes to that one. Sneaky, sneaky AdwarePro.

I haven’t seen any signs of it again so hopefully it won’t come back, but I highly doubt it’s that easy to get rid of. Looks like we will be reghosting this machine next week…

This blog is failing, at least at being a joint effort. Papa Georgio has made 1 post, I have made 11 I think. So I may just close this one and start my own personal blog. Still trying to decide. If I could get Papa to write it would be cool, but he is scared people will make fun of him for what he would write or something like that. I don’t know. I’ll keep everyone posted…the 15 people who have read this blog.

Most of you already know this, but I have been wanting a tattoo for awhile now. I couldn’t decide on what or where for the longest time though until recently. I’ve decided what I want, but pretty much everybody I tell says that it’s the dumbest idea ever. I know that a tattoo is for you and it makes you unique so it should only matter what you think about it and not what others think; I just always take into consideration what others think so I have yet to get it. So since nobody really approves of the idea, I’ve been trying to think of other things I could get but nothing is really as good as my original idea.

So what do I want to get permanently tattooed to my body? Well…I want the Windows flag on my shoulder. Yes, I am a huge geek. I’ve accepted that fact so I think it would be okay to get a tattoo which represents that fact where not many people would see it. I’ve always loved Microsoft and I really don’t think I would ever switch to Mac. I mean I may own a Mac one day but I very highly doubt I would make it my main computer. So at least I wouldn’t regret getting the tattoo since I will no longer like Windows. I just don’t see that happening anytime in my life. Unless Microsoft kills Windows and makes something completely different, which may eventually happen. But I would have the memory of a set of revolutionary operating systems on my shoulder for the rest of my life. It would be like having Bill Gates himself sitting on my shoulder calmly wispering in my ear, “yes, Windows happened and it was amazing.”

Since I haven’t gotten the approval I was hoping for, I started thinking of what else I could get. Really the only other “good” thing I thought of is my initials in binary. So “01000010 01001101 01001100″ would be somewhere on my body (probably either my shoulder or arm). I don’t like it as much as the Windows flag, but I think people would accept it more than the flag.

In the end, I will probably never get a tattoo. It’s just an idea and I like the fact of getting one. Maybe I’ll pull a Steveo and get a mural of Bill Gates on my entire back. That would be interesting.

Yet another rant…

It pisses me off when LSU parking decides to close off half of the damn parking lot for some visitors. We paid for the spots so we should be able to use them. Why do some random people who probably don’t have much importance to the university get first dibs on OUR parking spots? Parking on campus is already bad enough, but they decide to make it worse by doing this.

Maybe it’s for an event that is charging admission, or potential contributors, or whatever, but we already paid for it so fuck them. Why should we have to waste time trying to find a parking spot in the pretty much full parking lots while they just drive on in and park and go to their stupid little event? We are the ones who have to go to class, we have already paid for the spots, and we are paying a shit ton to the university already. Fuck the visitors and fuck LSU parking.

I guess the lack of sleep is getting to me now.

I’ve been up all night studying, so I decided to take a break and make a new post.

Can I just say, I hate how most teachers decide to have their exam in the same week as every other class. I can understand this for midterms and finals week, but it just seems like every time I have tests, they are all in the same week. That’s definitely how this week turned out. It’s like a damn mini-finals week…2 weeks before finals! So far I’ve failed 1 test, #2 is coming up in about 6 hours and the final one this week in about 24 hours. What pisses me off the most is that you can’t really focus on one of them, so you study your ass off for all of them but you fail each one. Or at least that’s what usually happens to me. It could be the fact that I am getting no sleep and running off of Full Throttle, or the fact that I’m depressed/pissed because I’m probably going to lose TOPS after this semester even after all the shit I’ve put myself through.

I was doing pretty well the first part of the semester too, but I think Mardi Gras and spring break fucked me over (and the trip to Rhodes, and that house party we had, and those other parties…). After those holidays I was completely unmotivated to do anymore work and I just wanted to go out and have a good time. And you read the story from Mardi Gras, it was one of the best weekends of my life so of course I want to just do that all year.

Then I can’t wait for finals week. I have the WORST schedule ever. Calc III and Differential Equations on the same damn day, within 30 minutes of each other. Of course I can’t move it though because I don’t have 3 finals within 24 hours of each other. So this week is pretty much a small preview of what I will be doing in 2 weeks. Can’t wait.

Hopefully a miracle will happen and the sky will open up and the earth will sing and I will pull off the GPA I need to keep TOPS. Very doubtful though. Oh well, summer is almost here. Just 2 more weeks!

…and now back to studying. I’m out of Full Throttle though. Shit.

This story is long past due for a blog post. I am just now having time to write it though…

It was the eve of test day and Georgio decided to go to the tutoring lab to get some help and hopefully do well on the test the next night. He looked over and saw her, the new stripper girl (except not, because she seems like a down-to-earth non-whore type of a girl). Supposedly things started out well, she helped him with some of the questions he had about the subject and they shared a few laughs about our period ridden instructor (nobody spoke up when he asked for something in class so he freaked out, threw the chalk at the board and walked out – but that is an entirely different post). Anyway, they talked for awhile until she decided she had to leave. Georgio was still working on some of the homework, so she offered to stick around and help him out a little bit. Now, if that is not a complete open invitation to felace her I don’t know what is. So what did Georgio, the genius, respond with? No. He said no. Okay, that’s fine. He doesn’t want to come off as needy or anything, so it’s understandable. But what I don’t understand: he got NO information from her. No name, no major, no phone number, no home address…Nothing!

We go to the study session later that evening and he points this girl out to me. Here’s the funny part, turns out she is in another one of my classes along with the class we all are in. Georgio freaks out. He starts thinking of ideas on how I can get her information. “Look over and see if you can see her name on her test”, “Strike up a random conversation and somehow work me into it,” because bringing up the random guy she met in the tutoring center is not creepy at all. I tell him he’s crazy and he should have just manned up and gotten her name before she ran off into the sunset. Then, I get this…”amazing” idea. You see, my place of employment (other than the bakery) is on campus and it deals with the majority of IT services. Anybody guess what this means? That’s right, class rosters. Thinking like the engineer I am (class joke – Georgio and new stripper girl would get it) I, along with the help of someone I shall not mention, compare the class rosters from the big class we are all in to the class me and this random girl are in. Success! We have a match. I check Facebook and confirm the finding. The mystery girl has a name – Divy Pour.

What makes the story even better is during the whole stalking/helping/finding process of matching class rosters from the system, the person who was helping me was saying that Georgio needs to man up, get some balls and get this girl’s name for real. I of course agree. I have to do all the dirty work. Now that we have a name though, he is scared to add her on Facebook because it would come off as way too creepy (which it definitely would). But he wanted her name, I got her name, now do something with it.

This post is slightly inappropriate, but I couldn’t pass this up.

I may have changed my mind about the best invention ever, that being the continental breakfast. Today I saw a revolutionary little device that makes an experience more pleasurable for at least one of the parties involved. It’s called the BlowGuard, and it looks pretty nifty. It’s basically a mouth guard for oral sex. But it’s more than just that, it has a “mini bullet” on the end which causes “powerful vibrations”. Now you know it’s good since it was designed by a dentist, but you have to hear the story of how it was invented:

A 47 year old female patient came to see me a few years back. I made her a beautiful set of upper and lower dentures (she had no teeth). They looked and fit great!! She left the office satisfied. The very next day she returned to the office unhappy. I asked her what was wrong and she told me that her teeth moved when she gave her boyfriend a blow-job the night before. I joked with her and told her to take out her teeth – that he would love that. She said that he didn’t know that she didn’t have teeth. So I took the dentures from her and made a soft custom night guard to cover the teeth. The next day she called me and was very happy.

Who is honestly that close to their dentist that they tell them of their sex life? Whatever though, it resulted in this device so all is good. And for only $27.95?! Wow, what a steal! So this weekend may have been one of the best weekends of my life. I’m not much of a partier but I was definitely ready to go to NOLA and have a good time. It wasn’t looking too good to start off with. I took somebody’s shift at work (cough) till 8pm so me and Papa Georgio didn’t leave until 9ish. We were doing good until we got to Laplace – when the traffic started. So we didn’t get to the hotel until 11:30. Of course everybody waiting for us was pissed, but it wasn’t our fault. We blame that person who made forced me to take his shift because he had something “important” to do (which was go to a baseball game). Screw that though, we got over it fast once we started pre-partying. Now on to Bourbon, street that is.

First of all, it was crowded as shit – if shit were crowded – but i didn’t care at all. I was there to have a good time, and that good time had already started. We walked around for awhile and got one of those things that I had been wanting for a long time. It was in a long, green, plastic container – it was a hand grenade. I got one for Papa Georgio too, but by the time I got back to him he had somehow gotten another liquid substance. So I just took both of them for myself. That is when my night went from good to fucking amazing. Somebody we were with had to go back to their hotel though, so I helped her get a cab and get her back to the hotel safely. The cab ride – biggest rip off ever! We went from Bourbon to Metarie and it cost us $30. Whatever though, I was in no state to get mad. So we chilled at her hotel for awhile and everybody in the room eventually came back (all 200 of them). So me and Papa Georgio went downstairs to wait for a cab. This is when the calls began.

I don’t remember who exactly we called, but we definitely sang to all of them. The cab finally came and that was by far the coolest cab driver in the world. We talked about the craziest shit ever. The coolness made up for the $60 fee – but we did have to go from Metarie to the Westbank. We got back to our hotel about 5:30am. Then we slept and repeated.

Saturday night we did the same thing pretty much, but ended the night with some very nice entertainment. Papa Georgio blew over $30 on it, but it was worth it. We left that fine establishment around 5:45 to catch the ferry back to the other side of the river. The ride on the ferry was beautiful – we got to watch the sun rise. We didn’t even think about how we were going to get back to the hotel once we got to the Westbank. Luckily, there was a girl there who got a cab and was nice enough to share it with us. Once we got back to the hotel we discovered the best invention man has ever created – the free continental breakfast. We were in heaven. The bacon, the sausage, all of the food was so delicious at that point in our lives. That was quite possibly the absolute best way to end the weekend.

So relatively long story short, I love my friends.

Update: I forgot to add how a couple people (let’s call them Strossy and Marge) decided to cut both nights short, because they are homosexual like that. They thought they were too cool for us or something, I don’t know. I do know they missed out on some great times – the early morning entertainment, the awesome cab driver, the greatest breakfast ever, everything. I’m still not completely sure when we lost them or how early they went back to the hotel, but they were definitly not with us the entire time and they always beat us back to the hotel.

I did feel kind of bad for waking them up on Sunday morning at like 7am, but screw it. I wasn’t all that worried about it at that moment. I mean, it’s Mardi Gras so you have to stay out as long as possible. And if I can do it, anybody should be able to because I never do this and I’m pretty pathetic. But it could be the opposite, these smart people seem like they are always partying so I guess their everyday life is Mardi Gras. I still don’t see how people can do that though. I would die. I almost did die last night, but that’s a different blog post. Maybe Papa Georgio will write about that one (since he doesn’t write shit on here).

It also would have been nice to hang out with Strossy and Marge more. They are cool people and, let’s face it, I could use all the cool people possible around me to help me out. I’m not mad at them or anything, shit I got what I needed to have a good time from them so I was good to go (Strossy). And I was covered up both mornings and given a pillow (I think Marge liked me, no I know Marge liked me by doing that (kidding)). But next time you both are hanging out with us all night.
