This may just be about the gayest thing I’ve ever said in my life, but have you ever wished you could sing after watching American Idol? First point, yes I do watch American Idol – go ahead, say what you want. I am now going to tell a somewhat (extremely) embarrassing story of my past…
Back when I was maybe 8-9 years old, I asked my parents – I mean Santa – for a microphone for Christmas. I got my microphone that year and I was quite happy. This is where the story gets embarrassing (if it weren’t already there). I would hook my microphone up to my stereo, blast the music and sing along with it. I’m not even going to go into what songs they were, that’s just too much information. This is the point when I started asking my parents for…get ready for it…a manager and a record deal. Almost every holiday I asked for this and seriously expected it and I was bummed when I didn’t get it. I now am extremely grateful my parents were smart enough to deny my wishes. So I gave up that and went into drama. I ended up being the lead in a musical and I was Danny in a Grease skit for Beta Club. Looking back on those videos, which will not be viewed, I hate myself for putting myself through that. I was terrible! So embarrassing.
So I have promised myself to never do anything like that ever again in my life…unless I could get some free studio time?

Hey, this is Papa Georgio. I’m gettin over the whole Lulu situation…it’s tough but im makin it. Nothin cures heart ache like some good music, so i have been listenin to one of the best artists of recent years…lil wayne. The guy is very popular world wide and his new album, the Carter III sold an unheard of amount of copies. Like me, he is from the great city of New Orleans (get pumped for mardi gras). Unlike most other rappers, lil wayne is most concerned with his music. He is a gangsta and he will tell u, but being a great musician is much more important to him. I know a lot of his music is filled with cheesy metaphors and is disrespectful to women, but he stands out from other rappers. I like all of his music, but i have been listenin to some songs lately that are really good and have a lot of meaning. He is on top of the music world right now, he is from our state, and he has some real good music…Be a fan…check this stuff out.
